Day-Off Camp: Campfire Cooking

What to do when the kids are off, but you’re not!

For ages 5-12 

Learn about the importance of fire on a cold winter day.  Fire is useful for light, warmth, cooking, and water purification.  Learn how to make fire in a damp winter, and then hike to find edibles to cook on our fire.

Please bring a packed lunch, water bottle and weather appropriate clothing.

Schedule

Camps run 8:00 – 3:00 pm.  Extended day until 6:00 pm is available for an additional $15/day.

Registration

Members: $52 | Non-members: $62

Programs with a field trip may include an additional fee.  Pre-registration is required.
