Teachers & Environmental Educators

Join Us Thursday, July 24th and Friday, July 25th

Don’t miss this FREE opportunity

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math are deeply woven into the real world. Gaining skills and knowledge in each of these content areas greatly supports learning and cognitive growth. The environment and nature provide a perfect source for curriculum development, bridging the connection between these content areas in a way that students can relate to.

This exciting 2-day workshop is open to educators and teachers from early childhood to high school with breakout sessions available for a variety of age ranges and students.  Teachers will get the benefit of ideas and lessons to incorporate into their own classroom and what tools to use (even with limited access to nature).

Local teachers, administrators, and other individuals in the environmental profession come together at the Schuylkill Center to share inspirational lessons, methods, strategies and resources with each other.

More information about Greening STEM here.

Call 215-482-7300, x110 to register. Participants will have the option of ordering lunch for $15.00 from our favorite local and sustainable deli, Mugshots.

The Schuylkill Center Teacher Training Institute is supported by the Chesapeake Bay Trust. We greatly appreciate their support, which allows us to offer this workshop at no cost.
