Toad Nights

April 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

| Free

See American toads up close, hear their trills, learn about their natural history, and even search for their eggs. Dr. Carlos Martínez Rivera, an Amphibian Conservation Specialist with the Philadelphia Zoo, and Danielle Quaglia, an Conservation Educator at the Philadelphia Zoo who is in charge of their FrogWatch program, will lend their expertise in talking about frog and toad conservation issues in our region. We’ll meet at the Schuylkill Center main building and will hike rain or shine, so bring a raincoat.

Did you know the Schuylkill Center works to protect toads through our Toad Detour program? Since 2008, hundreds of volunteers have helped over 10,000 toads cross the road. Want to help out? Learn more here.
