Wellness Saturday: Yoga

Want to get your garden ready for the spring but don’t know where to start? Bring the whole family out to our Spring Native Plant Sale, where we will have local makers, food vendors, a bird walk, and even a perennial planting activity for kids to do for Mother’s Day.

Hosted by Andrew Kirkpatrick, our in-house native plant expert, along with highly knowledgeable volunteers, this event begins with a discussion of new offerings at the plant sale. Then we’ll talk about our tried and true volunteer favorites and answer all of your burning native plant questions.

Aglow: Aurora Robson Exhibition Opening

The Schuylkill Center presents a new indoor and outdoor exhibition of renowned environmental artist ​Aurora Robson, a multimedia artist known primarily for her work intercepting the waste stream. She transforms plastic debris into mesmerizing, bold sculptures that disguise and transcend their material.

Annual Nesting Bird Census

From beginners to experts, the nesting bird census is perfect for everyone. We pair experienced birders with beginners in order to collect valuable citizen science data to help better understand which birds live in our region and at what times of the year.

Summer Camp Meet & Greet

Hear about our camp policies and schedule, meet your child’s counselors, and participate in a Q&A session. This event is open to summer camp registrants as well as those looking to register.

Environmental Artist Party

The Schuylkill Center is building a network of artists through periodic casual gatherings that give environmental artists the opportunity to connect with one another as well as potential collaborators in other disciplines.
