Clinic Celebrates Silver Anniversary

This fall the Schuylkill Center celebrates the 25th anniversary of its wildlife clinic - a quarter of a century of caring for animals and bridging the gap between communities and wildelife through education and outreach. In those 25 years, the clinic has cared for over 80,000 injured and orphaned animals, successfully returning the majority of those animals to the wild. It's a remarkable history, which we will honor this fall with a special birthday party and a beautiful photographic exhibit from the environmental art department.Philly Phanatic

Don't miss the "greenest" and wildest mascot of all time - the Philly Phanatic - as he joins us to celebrate the wildlife clinic's 25th birthday with a fun, family-friendly party. There will be stories, songs, crafts, AND...a delicious birthday cake created just for us by Chestnut Hill's Night Kitchen bakery. Bring a birthday gift for the clinic* and enjoy a special celebration.

Jennifer Hynes photographs lovingly document the animals, people, and structures of the wildlife clinic. This inspiring photographic exhibition opens September 22 in our new indoor art gallery.
