Juniors

Junior Girl Scout Badge Programs are two hours in length and include at least six of the required activities to complete the badge.  All programs include an outdoor portion on The Schuylkill Center’s hiking trails.

Junior Programs

Earth Connections – Explore our trails and habitats as you complete the requirements to learn more about our earth and its inhabitants.

Science Discovery – Do some cool science experiments and be an environmental observer by digging around in The Schuylkill Center’s stream!

Wildlife – The wide variety of wildlife at The Schuylkill Center makes it the perfect place to learn about and observe native Pennsylvania wildlife. Enhance this program by combining it with a service project as you build more habitat for the local wildlife!

Additional Programs

Night Hikes – The Schuylkill Center trails are more fun after dark!  Learn about The Center’s nocturnal residents and explore the habitats by flashlight or moonlight. 

Campfires – Sing songs or tell stories around a campfire in our rustic pavilion.  Roasting marshmallows and making s’mores is an added bonus!
