Summer Camp
New: Priority summer camp registration for members! The weather outside may be frigid, but our camp directors are gearing up for summer fun and the 2010 camp season! This summer, The Schuylkill Center will unveil two exciting additions to our established programs: Down on the Farm gives campers, aged 7-9, the opportunity to learn about farming and food through hands-on activities at the Schuylkill Center’s 2 acre organic farm. Children will learn to make connections between raw food materials and the processed materials that are purchased from stores and will develop an appreciation for the environment and its role in providing for humans needs. Three one-week sessions run from July 12th through July 30th and are repeated from August 2nd through the 20th. As with all Schuylkill Center camps, you may sign up for just one week, or all three. Teen Adventure Treks challenge pre-teens and teens (aged 10 – 15 years) to experience the outdoors in a comfortable and supportive setting. Our focus is on helping young people learn more about themselves, strengthen their self-confidence and gain teamwork skills while experiencing the outdoors in unique and fun way. 2010 Registration Form For more information on our Summer Camp programs and a chance to meet our camp directors, please join us at the following area camp fairs: Main Line Camp Fair at Devon Elementary School Super Camp Fair at the Conshocken Marriot Camp Fair and Expo at St. Peter’s School CHA Camp Fair at The Chestnut Hill Academy
