Nominations Open for the 11th Annual Schuylkill Center Meigs Award May 10, 2016

PHILADELPHIA � The Schuylkill Center is proud to announce an open call for nominations for the 11th annual Henry Meigs Award for Environmental Leadership. The award is named in memory of Henry Meigs, one of the Schuylkill Center�s founders. Past awardees of the Environmental Leadership Award include Dr. Ann Fowler Rhoads (2014), Governor Ed Rendell (2007), and Clean Air Council�s Joe Minott (2012).

The Schuylkill Center welcomes nominations from all kinds of environmental leaders for the Meigs Award for Environmental Leadership, celebrating leadership in many fields, from scientific research to community education, political leadership to neighborhood community building. The award recognizes those who have demonstrated vision, integrity, and have left a meaningful and lasting impact on their community and the Philadelphia region. Nominations are due on June 1.
