Gimme Shelter Finalists!

Gimme Shelter is the Environmental Art Program's first design-build competition, to present sustainably designed woodland shelters on a small scale.  A distinguished panel of jurors chose the following 6 designs out of over 80 designs submitted by 65 teams of artists, architects, and designers, from around the world. The shelters will be built at The Schuylkill Center starting in March. The building location is along the Towhee trail, between the Main Building and the Cattail Pond. If you come to walk the trails on the weekends in March or April, feel free to stop by the site to observe the progress!

Images and information on the 6 Finalist designs can be found on the Gimme Shelter website.
