Welcome in spring with a variety of wellness programs along our trails. Wellness programs occur on the last Saturday of every month and are free to the public. Donations appreciate. Welcome the first days of spring with a walk along our moonlit trails as we discover the forest in a whole new way. Forest Bathing – CANCELED
Come celebrate the fall season with a peaceful walk through and meditation in the forest. Shinrin-yoku is a term that means "taking in the forest atmosphere." It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care. The guided walk will be led by certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

Reconnection – A Healing Hike
How can nature help us heal? We welcome members of the African-American community to join us for a hike along the Schuylkill Center’s trails towards our new art installation and sanctuary, Al Mudhif. Forest Therapy
Come celebrate the spring season with a peaceful walk through the forest. Forest therapy is deeply inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which roughly translates to "forest bathing." Developed in Japan during the 1980s, it refers to spending time in forested areas for the purpose of enhancing health and happiness. This program will be led by Anisa George, a permaculture designer, theatre artist, and certified guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides.

Spend your Saturday morning finding tranquility through yoga in our forest. Using maps devised from Katonah Yoga and tools from a variety of body-weight movement traditions, we will build a foundation through posture, mobility and breathing with instructor Noah Julian. These classes are beginner-friendly, geared towards adults, and will take place rain or shine. Cost is $10 for members, $20 for non-members. Please bring your own mat.
