Restoration Volunteer Work Day

Along Wildflower Loop, volunteers will provide much-needed assistance in repairing our deer fencing. Over a 20-acre perimeter, we are able to keep those hungry animals at bay, giving spring wildflowers a chance to flourish. The fence also protects this important habitat for our birds and pollinators. Afterwards, we’ll spend some time planting native trees and shrubs to enrich our plant ecosystem.

We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy boots and bringing a pair of gloves if you have them available. No experience necessary—we provide gloves (if needed), tools, and instruction. Please bring your own water bottle. Please note: our volunteer workday will be canceled in the event of severe weather.
