Start your morning off with a beginner’s tai chi class in the forest led by Jing Tang of Oriental Fitness Institute in Roxborough. Tai chi combines the body, mind, and spirit through slow, focused movements and deep breathing. Programs will be held outside so please dress for the weather. Space is limited to twenty participants. Registration is required. Wellness Saturday programs occur on the last Saturday of every month, except for August, and are free to the public.

Join us this Saturday as we host an afternoon of canoeing. This is in intentional observance of restoring BIPOC (Black and Indigenous people of color) communities’ access and relationship to our shared watershed— and educate about the Lenape people’s use of ecologically friendly waterway transportation. Art Opening Forest Makings
The Center’s new environmental art exhibition, Forest Makings, explores practices of today's forest conservation. It features a series of sculptures, weavings and installations. Experiencing this exhibit will shed light on our forests’ environmental benefits, current threats as a result of climate change, and its management in response to survival of biodiversity and economic desire.
