Please join us at The Schuylkill Center on August 26th from 12-2:30pm for the Nature’s Alchemy Festival!

Alchemy is the process of transforming form into substance. Through creative, chemical metamorphosis, natural materials become something new, experimental and exciting. The environment exhibits its own alchemy: forces like sunlight and water bleach, mold, mature and regenerate the world around them. Humans have long added their own hand to these processes, harnessing the power of nature to create artwork.

Nature’s Alchemy features sculptures, paintings, textiles and videos in which nature itself serves as artistic material. By exhibiting finished artworks alongside the tools and processes used to create them, we uplift the artistic collaboration between nature and the people who channel its offerings.
