Introduction to Fly Fishing

Give the gift of fly fishing this Mother’s Day. Interim executive director Erin Mooney and certified LL Bean casting instructor will give a 1.5 hour casting lesson to five women on Saturday, June 1 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will learn the basics of fly fishing, from basis casts, to rods and flies and other gear. We will be learning to cast on grass and will not be going in to the water.
Instruction will take place at the Schuylkill Center. $100 each. Registration required.
