Welcome to your outdoor classroom!

For the 2022–23 school year, Schuylkill Center educators are bringing our 365 acres of fields, forests, and ponds to your virtual classroom.

Our programs provide hands-on, interactive nature experiences to enhance classroom science lessons. From identifying insects to examining bones to measuring water quality, students will be actively engaged in this unique learning experience. Programs can be customized to meet your group’s needs.

Each one-hour program includes:

  • An interactive lesson led by a Schuylkill Center educator
  • Guided hands-on activities that bring lessons to life
  • Self-guided follow-up activities to encourage students to continue learning outdoors

To reserve a date for your group, or schedule a program at your location, please call Beatrice Kelly at 215-853-6249. Or use the registration links on the right to send your inquiry.
