Schuylkill Saturdays: Family-Friendly Butterfly Walk

Start your morning with a hike led by an environmental educator and learn about butterflies and their feeding habits. After reading “From Caterpillar to Butterfly,” by Deborah Heiligman, enjoy a Rainbow walk and investigate Milkweed plants for evidence of Monarch butterflies. This hike is best for families with kids under the age of 10, but all ages are welcome! Please note that the hike will be about an hour long and the trails are not stroller-friendly.
