Smith Run Fall Migration Hike

Smith Run, a first order stream, one of the last remaining in Philadelphia is the destination for a guided bird walk. From the headwaters to the Schuylkill River, we will hike the length of this stream looking for fall migrants as we meander approximately 1 mile over moderate to steep terrain.

This is a River Days event held in conjunction with the Alliance for Watershed Education of the Delaware River. River Days aims to elevate the importance of experiential programming, increasing watershed knowledge, and promoting individual and collective action to protect clean water
