This event has been CANCELED. Help us to improve the health and biodiversity of our forest while getting to know the property, connecting with nature, and making new friends. On workdays, volunteers will remove invasive plants and help to improve our trails. We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy boots and bringing a pair of gloves if you have them available. Last year the Schuylkill Center brought together Iraqi refugees, U.S. veterans, and the public for the construction of Al Mudhif, entirely made out of invasive wetland reeds. The Iraqi guesthouse and sanctuary served for healing and community in nature. Exactly a year later, this Memorial Day we invite you to a last farewell to the mudhif.
