March 13 is the opening day for the Schuylkill Center's Biannual Native Plant Sale! Starting today, trees and shrubs will be available for purchase. Come shop for your favorites: Paw Paw, Hazelnut, Dogwoods and more will be available at our online shop. Buy online, and pick up in person. It’s time for spring cleaning! On March 16 we’re calling everyone who cares about nature to join us for a community cleanup day at the Schuylkill Center. We’ll be working along the roadside picking up trash, cleaning up fallen branches, and getting the Center ready for the spring season. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Explore the natural marvels of our 365-acre nature preserve on a guided hike led by an inspiring environmental educator. This free event is open to all ages. Walk-ins are welcome! Please note: This hike is about an hour long. Weather conditions can impact trail conditions, which are sometimes narrow or rocky.

When schools are closed, we are open! Bring your kids to the Schuylkill Center for a day of fun and exploration. Day-off camps are for children ages 5-12 years old. Extended day until 6:00 pm is available for an additional $20/day. Please bring a packed lunch, water bottle and an extra set of clothes. Wear weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty. Please note, day-off camps will be canceled ONE WEEK PRIOR if the minimum number of participants is not reached.…
