Tigers and Cub’s Belt Loop and Academics Pin Programs are two hours in length and spent on The Schuylkill Center hiking trails as Scouts fulfill requirements.

Tiger and Cub Program options

Weather Belt Loop & Academics Pin – Find out how clouds are formed, what causes twisters, and what you can do to prepare for dangerous weather.  Weather affects everything, including our environment!

Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop & Academics Pin – The Schuylkill Center is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and you can help to protect wildlife by learning more about how they live and how people affect them.

Additional Programs

Enhance your Troops experience by adding one or more of the following programs to your schedule:

Night Hikes – The Schuylkill Center trails are more fun after dark!  Learn about The Center’s nocturnal residents and explore the habitats by flashlight or moonlight.

Campfires – Sing songs or tell stories around a campfire in our rustic pavilion.  Roasting marshmallows and making s’mores is an added bonus!
