The Schuylkill Center has partnered for many years with Arcadia University to offer eight graduate courses on topics related to the environment. These courses satisfy the requirements for students seeking an MA in Education or M.Ed. and/or teaching certification in a science discipline. Adjunct faculty bring their professional experience from academics, government and business, and strive to help students learn how to best incorporate the course content into their teaching. All courses use the abundant resources available at the Center, including our 365-acre preserve, large collection of educational materials, and the many partners with which the Center maintains close ties.

Courses offered:
ES 501: Introduction to Environmental Science (Fall and Summer)
ES 502: Natural History (Fall)
ES 503: Meteorology (Spring)
